The standard of PACKING is vital to the quality of an international move

KnopfUSA’s packing teams are experts in the safe handling of furniture, antiques and works of art, as well as the day-to-day items that all homes treasure.  They use only the finest quality materials and are thoroughly trained in the latest techniques to ensure the safety of the belongings in their care. They also take their responsibility to customers seriously, and do all they can to take the stress out of the moving day.

Customers are not expected to pack themselves.   Pictures may be left on the wall, glasses in cupboards; and clothes in closets and dressers.  The KnopfUSA crew will take care of everything. 

The crew will provide special packing materials.  These can include polystyrene and tissue materials for fine china or delicate electrical and computer equipment; heat reflecting wrapping to guard against extremes of temperature; and waxed paper for protecting newly polished furniture.  KnopfUSA carpenters will provide tailor-made wooden crates for very fragile and highly personal value items.

When the packing is complete, the crew foreman will compile a numbered inventory list using KnopfUSA ready-printed labels prior to the removal of the furniture and personal effects from the residence.  If a shipment has special requirements for packing, handling, routing or delivery, the KnopfUSA team will make sure promises are kept, wishes respected and schedules maintained.
